With the health crisis and confinement, teleworking has exploded in France.

More than a quarter of workers performed all of their tasks remotely.

The experience has been conclusive, since today nearly 80% want to continue teleworking, on a regular or occasional basis.

Supervision of the disconnection, material organization, support of costs, all these elements must be the subject of negotiation, say the unions who wish to protect employees against abuses.

This is why they are asking for a national inter-professional agreement.

The employers agree to negotiate, but do not want a normative agreement.

No question of imposing binding provisions for companies.

On the union side, the CFDT, Force Ouvrière and CFE-CGC announced that they would be present at the negotiating table.

Two first meetings are already scheduled for November 3 and 23.
