The Spanish newspaper "MARCA" reported that Barcelona President Josep Maria Bartomeu facilitated the transfer of Suarez to Atletico, where he waived the club's dues in his contract with the capital's team, and allowed him to move in a free transfer.
It seems that the captain of the team, Lionel Messi, had something to do with ending the crisis and the Barcelona administration abandoned its intransigence in his demand for a percentage of the new deal that may impede the departure of the player who spent 6 years with Barcelona during which he became the third historical goal scorer for the Catalan club.
