Zhang Guozhong said that the original trial was not improper and that Lin Tangjun’s appeal was unreasonable, so he rejected the whole case.

  The collegiate panel held that Lin Tangjun (30) owed huge gambling debts and used a simulated air gun to robber Hong Kong’s “classic hour hand” watch. He obtained two Rolex watches worth millions of dollars, causing heavy losses to the store’s property and seriously endangering local public order and security. Order, sentenced.

  The report mentioned that in addition to the robber Hong Kong Watch Shop, Lin Tangjun also snatched two Rolex watches from the "Swiss Watch Shop" in Kyoto, Japan at the end of May last year, valued at NT$4.25 million; on June 12 last year, he had a business in the Far East of Singapore. The center's "HJ LUXURY" grabbed two Rolex watches. Because Taiwan has no jurisdiction, the prosecutor gave a sanction of non-prosecution.

  The verdict revealed that Lin Tangjun took a plane to Hong Kong on September 28 last year. He returned to Taiwan on October 1 of the same year.

On the afternoon of October 5 of the same year, Lin Tangjun went to Hong Kong again. After arriving, he bought a black simulated air gun capable of firing BB bullets at a model shop in Mong Kok for HK$680.

  On the morning of October 6th last year, Lin Tangjun was wearing a black short-sleeved shirt, black pants, a white cap, carrying a brown leather bag, and putting a simulated air gun in the waistband on the right side and covering it with a jacket, and took a taxi to go. Lin Tangjun enters the store and pretends to buy a Rolex watch, waiting for the male clerk to take out the two Rolex watches displayed in the decoration cabinet in the store and take them out for him to watch and choose to try on.   In the afternoon of the same day, Lin Tangjun returned to Taiwan by plane. On the afternoon of the 24th of the same month, he took the Rolex watch straps he obtained to a pawnshop in Lingya District, Kaohsiung City, and sold them for NT$2.8 million.

The Taichung prosecutors launched the investigation based on the fax letter of the Hong Kong Port Authority "Request for assistance in investigating a robbery" on November 5 last year.

  The prosecutors arrested Lin Tangjun along the line on November 11 last year and seized more than NT$2.7 million in criminal proceeds, 4 Rolex watches, and other stolen goods at the residence of Lin Tangjun and his girlfriend.

  According to previous media reports, the case of Chen Tongjia was tumultuous in Hong Kong and Taiwan last year.
