The WHO Director-General stressed that it is important for states to join the WHO and GAVI COVAX Facility, which collects data on all candidate vaccines.
It is clarified that the COVAX Facility program is aimed at dialogue with all countries so that vaccines against coronavirus are generally available.
The GAVI website reports that as of September 21, 156 economies have joined the COVAX Facility, including 64 states with a high level of population income.
