As part of the rural development program, the county administrative board arranges courses and advice for those who want to start or get a better local store operation.

A living countryside is one of the program's keywords and just by 2020, the courses have been filled quickly, says consultant Annica Bergman, who holds courses.

"Right in time"

Activities close to and with a focus on the local are right on time right now and at the same time it becomes natural to do other things than go to the shopping center, says Annica Bergman.

It has also meant that more people see the opportunities to start their own.

- If you have a farm, there is usually space and it is possible to decide the level yourself.

The pandemic is accelerating development

Experience trading and changing buying behaviors are concepts that have long been talked about in trading.

This means striving to, in addition to a product, also give the customer added value and a unique experience.

- The pandemic here has accelerated the process quite properly but would probably have happened anyway, she says.

In the clip, Annica tells more about farm sales in corona times and tips those who want to try.
