Radio station RMF FM reports.

“Underground protests began in the mines of the Polish Mining Group.

Some of the miners did not come to the surface after the completed shift - there are 65 of them, ”the message says.

At the same time, the strike committee warns that their colleagues from other mines may join the protesting miners.

It is noted that the miners are provided with food, are in acceptable conditions and do not interfere with the work of the mines.

According to RIA Novosti, the protest is related to the national energy plan, which implies a reduction in the use of coal in the country and, as a result, mass layoffs in coal mining companies.

On September 8, Volynets announced that hundreds of miners in the Dnipropetrovsk region are refusing to rise to the surface, demanding higher wages.
