During the pre-season, HV71 chose to play completely without an audience in the home arena at Rosenlund in Jönköping.

On Saturday, the audience will be admitted, but it is limited to 50, given the current corona restrictions.

- Of these 50 people, some of the tickets will go to our largest partners, some to season ticket holders and some to North bank supporters, says HV71's club director Agne Bengtsson.

Emails the chosen ones

The club will via e-mail inform those who receive the offer to come to the various matches.

But Agne Bengtsson does not know the details of how they are selected when SVT Nyheter Jönköping talks to him.

- It may be that North banks get a number of places where they then have to choose who will go.

It may be a lottery, but I do not know the details of it.

HV is also looking at a similar solution for matches in SDHL, but is not really in port there yet.

Want information about the future

Preparations for a corona season in the SHL have been extensive for the series' 14 clubs.

Now everything is ready - except the audience question.

It has today been a month since the government opened to allow a limited number of spectators at the sports arenas from 1 October.

But how it will be is not clear.

- We must have that decision in place now, said SHL's sports director and vice president Johan Hemlin on Friday.

And Agne Bengtsson agrees with Hemlin's objection.

He says that the club has a plan for how they can divide the audience when they get to bring more into the arena.

- It is, among other things, about ensuring that all sections have their own kiosk and that entry and exit to the arena is managed so that it does not become too crowded.

In the clip below, new head coach Nicklas Rahm talks about HV71's preparations for the season.

Nicklas Rahm, new head coach of HV71, says that he should try to stay calm and be objective when it's time for the SHL premiere on Saturday.

But it's a little nervous.
