ByteDance, the parent company of TikTok confirmed on Monday that it had reached an agreement with two American groups.

Software giant Oracle would take 12.5% of the new entity dubbed TikTok Global, and retail giant Walmart would take 7.5%.

80% of the whole would remain under the control of ByteDance.

In exchange, TikTok global would commit to establishing the headquarters of the new group in Texas and creating 25,000 jobs in the United States.

Commitments that fall well for Donald Trump, less than two months from the presidential election in a file, which ultimately is above all political.
