Carl Johan Sonesson (M) went out last Friday with a post on Facebook with several recommendations to the people of Skåne, including not going to Denmark if it is not necessary.

Denmark currently has no restrictions for visitors from Scania, nor does the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs advise Swedish citizens from making unnecessary trips to Denmark.

Wants to remove pleasure trips

Carl Johan Sonesson, on the other hand, thinks that it is still justified to urge caution.

- It is important not to make a lot of pleasure trips right now to regions where there is a higher infection situation, he says to SVT Nyheter Skåne.

The Regional Council also wants to introduce the possibility of having regional restrictions for different parts of Sweden, in order to be able to adapt the measures to how the spread of infection looks in the different parts of the country.

- It is reasonable that we can have a toolbox that allows you to be open in some places and closed in others, says Carl Johan Sonesson (M).

Recommends mouth protection

Another call is to use mouth guards in large crowds.

The Swedish Public Health Agency has no such recommendation, and Region Skåne's infection control unit follows the agency's guidelines.

- If you come to a cramped place, putting on a mouth guard is a way that you can contribute yourself, says the regional council.
