The Saint-Sixte II church, in Pérols (Hérault), was vandalized on Sunday.
According to information communicated by the parish of Stella Maris, which published the photos of the damage on Facebook, excrement, urine and sputum were notably found at the scene, and a cross was thrown.
Fire starts were noted, song sheets were notably burned.
The facts were filmed by CCTV cameras.
A complaint will be filed this Monday at the police station, indicates the parish.
“A great sadness, a lot of emotion, explains, on Facebook, Father Hervé Dussel, who officiates in the church of Pérols.
For me, this is not the work of an imbalance, but the work of someone who wanted to do harm.
