A man found hanged in the middle of a roundabout in Avignon

, a fifty-something was found hanged in the middle of the Realpanier d'Avignon roundabout in the Vaucluse.

The alert was given by motorists driving in the busy area this Monday around 7:30 am, after spotting a silhouette on this unusual place to say the least.

Police and firefighters were quickly dispatched to the scene after being alerted.

Helpers tried in vain to revive the 50-year-old who was declared dead by the authorities.
