Faced with a boosted room

, Henri Konan Bédié had these very strong words on September 20: "

Faced with the breach, only one watchword, irreversible

: civil disobedience

", launched the dean of the opposition.

Concretely, the parties, platforms and organizations of civil society, grouped within this opposition coalition, call for mobilization in the street against a third term of Alassane Ouattara and to obtain satisfaction on a series of demands. such as the dissolution of the Constitutional Council and the Electoral Commission, the audit of the electoral list, the release of political prisoners or the return of exiles.

Torpedo the ballot

The reform of the institutional framework is a prerequisite for the organization of the election

", declared the spokesperson for the opposition coalition, Patrice Saraka, of Cojep [Coordination of young patriots].

This broad coalition brings together GPS [Generations and Solidary Peoples] of Guillaume Soro, the pro-Gbagbo of EDS, the CDRP [Coalition for Democracy, Reconciliation and Peace] platform which includes the PDCI [Democratic Party of Côte d'Ivoire ] and several other parties such as

the UDPCI [Union for Democracy and Peace in Côte d'Ivoire] of Albert Toikeusse Mabri in

particular.

The opposition therefore engages in a standoff with the government to bring the debate on the third term to the streets and torpedo the ballot if its demands are not met.
