The church is located in the south of the city in the Ursynow region, on Pulawskaya street.

This is the first Orthodox church built in Warsaw in the last 100 years.

Until today, two Orthodox churches have operated in the Polish capital - the Cathedral of St. Mary Magdalene and the Church of St. John of the Ladder.

On Sunday, the ceremony of "minor consecration" took place, after which it is already possible to serve the liturgy there.

At the moment, finishing work continues in the temple, which is planned to be completed in 2021.

Up to 40 thousand Orthodox believers live in Warsaw.

Earlier it was reported that a second Russian temple would appear in Antarctica.
