According to the Russian TASS news agency on the 18th, the spokesperson of the US Embassy in Russia Rebecca Ross said that an unidentified person drove into the residence of the US ambassador to Russia in Moscow. The incident was not caused. Personnel were injured.

  Ross wrote on social media: "At about 16:20, a Russian citizen drove a car and broke through the cordon at the residence of the US ambassador to Russia."

  She further pointed out that the person was intercepted by embassy personnel and handed over to local authorities.

Ambassador John Sullivan was not at home at the time and no one was injured.
