The US police announced today, Saturday, the killing of two people and the wounding of 14 others, as a result of shooting at a party in New York State, and the motives of the attack are not yet clear.
Police Chief Mark Simons said that a man and a woman in his late twenties were killed in the shooting, which took place in Rochester, overlooking Lake Ontario, in New York state.
And wounded in the accident, 14 others were taken to two hospitals in the city, and police sources reported that the lives of the injured were not threatened.
Simmons said, "It is truly a tragedy of epic proportions."
He explained that the police have launched an investigation to find out the circumstances of the accident.
The shooting occurred in the first minutes of this morning, and about 100 people were seen running in a "very chaotic scene."
Until this moment, the police did not disclose the identities of the wounded, but made it clear that they were between 18 and 22 years old.
The "CNN" police have not yet arrested any suspect in connection with the shooting.
It was also not clear if the source of the shooting was one or more people.
