October 07, 2018 She is smiling, radiant.

Donald Trump does not hide his satisfaction with the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh in the Supreme Court.

"It is a historic night, a great victory for our country," said the president speaking to his supporters, 11,000 people flocked to celebrate it.

Outside the Landon Arena in Topeka, Kansas, however, the protests do not abandon him: dozens of protesters criticize the Senate and the Republicans, guilty - in their opinion - of having confirmed an unsuitable person to the Supreme Court and above all not having listened to the complaint of Christine Ford.

The tycoon sends a clear message to his people: Go vote in November.

The reason is obvious: you have seen what the Democrats are capable of, think what would happen if they came to power.

"They are the party of crime, they are arsonists ready to burn the country" attacks Trump, accusing or the opposition of a "shameful campaign to destroy" Kavanaugh.

A campaign - he says - that revealed who the Democrats really are.

"They are too dangerous to come to power, they want socialism, that Venezuela style" he urges, receiving the applause of the crowd.

For Trump it is truly a historic evening, coming to the end of a successful week, his best since he entered the White House.

In spite of forecasts, it has in fact signed a new agreement for NAFTA, received the green light in Kavanaugh and enjoys an economy in excellent health, with unemployment dropped to a minimum since 1969 to 3.7%.

Successes that have energized the president and his supporters and which, it is the hope and conviction of the Republicans, will persuade conservative voters to vote in the November elections.

After speaking to his fans in Kansas for 70 minutes, Trump leaves for Washington, where he will attend Kavanaugh's official swearing-in ceremony on Monday.

For now the judge has only sworn in a private ceremony at the Supreme Court.

As soon as he gets on Air Force One, Trumpo tweeted his message of the evening: "You don't need matches to be an arsonist. Democrats have become too extreme and too dangerous to rule. Vote for the Republicans."
