At the beginning of the week, the construction work started where, among other things, Näckrosdammen is renovated and a stream re-emerges.
Already last autumn, 13 linden trees were replanted that fell during storm Gorm 2015. Ten new books were also allowed to take place.
- It feels really good to be able to continue the project this autumn.
By recreating the old stream and renovating the dam, we also contribute to increasing biodiversity, says Sofia Warpman, city gardener at the technology and leisure administration in Halmstad municipality.
The plan is for the work to be completed by the end of November and until then, the existing stone bridge and the area by Näckrosdammen will be closed.
