The Minister of Health and Prevention receives the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine

In line with the Ministry of Health and Community Protection plan that was announced last week, which includes providing the Covid 19 vaccine to specific groups of the first line of defense, the Minister of Health and Community Protection Abdul Rahman bin Muhammad Al Owais received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.

Al-Owais said that by presenting this vaccine we seek to provide all safety measures for the heroes of the first line of defense and protect them from any dangers that they may be exposed to due to the nature of their work, stressing that it fully and completely complies with the regulations and laws that allow a faster review of licensing procedures, after positive results of clinical trials emerged. Conducted by the health sector in the country, explaining that the vaccine is safe and effective, and will contribute to reducing the losses caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and saving lives.

It is noteworthy that the UAE authorized the emergency use of the Covid-19 vaccine in order to make it available to the groups most dealing with people infected with the virus from the first line of defense champions, with the aim of providing all safety and security means and protecting them from any dangers they may face due to the nature of their work.
