Guest of "La Table des bons vivants", Saturday on Europe 1, actor Richard Berry spoke of his vision of cooking, centered on transmission.

With emotion, he also returned to his mother's favorite dish, "Chinese dumplings".

Richard Berry loves cooking, and for good reason.

"It comes from my mother", confided the actor at the microphone of Laurent Mariotte on Saturday, in

La Table des bon vivant, 

on Europe 1. "I find that around the kitchen a lot of warm relations, exchanges federate , contacts. "

"I'm a little afraid to apprehend this dish"

"I often remember that people came home, couples, to eat my mother's cooking. And they still remember it," the actor continues.

"We go to a chef's house because we love his cuisine and we want to meet around this cuisine, his universe, his temperament."

What are Richard Berry's childhood dishes?

"Lots of oriental things. Including a recipe for Chinese dumplings, a mixture of several meats with a lot of delicacies of spices inside, and then a crazy sauce", he confides with emotion.

"My sister knows how to make it. My wife took the recipe and so I'll try to do it one day. Because since my mother was born and passed away, I've been a little afraid to apprehend this dish. "
