Mohammed bin Zayed and Macron discuss by phone efforts to support peace in the region

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, yesterday, received a phone call from the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron.

During it, they discussed the strategic relations between the two countries, and means of strengthening and developing them, in various aspects of cooperation, in a way that achieves their common interests.

His Highness and the French President also discussed, during the call, a number of issues of common interest in the Middle East region, and the two countries' efforts to support peace and stability in the region.

In this regard, they touched upon the importance of the historic peace treaty signed by the United Arab Emirates and the State of Israel in promoting stability, security and peace, and achieving development and prosperity for the benefit of all peoples of the region and their future.
