China has accused the United States of "bullying" and suggested it could take unspecified "countermeasures" following Washington's ban on downloading Chinese apps TikTok and WeChat starting tomorrow. "China urges the United States to stop bullying and stop its illegal actions," says the Chinese Commerce Ministry. "If the United States persists on this path, China will take the necessary measures to resolutely safeguard the rights and legitimate interests of Chinese companies."
