It was seven years ago that Conny got the idea - an air purifier that protects children from pollution and which also collects data via an app for research.

He is basically an anesthetist, but the idea only came to him when he became a father.

It has been a long start-up process and it was not until the corona pandemic that the company really got started.

- Awareness of the problem has increased, both here and globally.

And it has been understood that this type of innovation is needed.

The shutdowns during the pandemic have put the finger on how widespread air pollution is, he says.

Can win prize

Now Conny has stopped working as a doctor at Nyköping's hospital to be able to invest wholeheartedly in the company.

Already next autumn, he plans to launch the product in 140 countries.

This autumn, the winner of the Create Award, the country's largest innovation award, will also be crowned and Conny will represent Sörmland in the competition.

- I take it as an acknowledgment and a confirmation that I am on the right track, and that I have done the right thing in changing careers in life and investing fully in my innovation and vision.
