On Friday, just over 60 people from Västernorrland gathered in connection with computer game development for a conference in Sundsvall.
The purpose of the conference is to create conditions for new jobs and new companies in the computer games industry in Västernorrland.
This will be done, among other things, by developing a regional gaming cluster, creating easily accessible venture capital and reviewing the supply of skills.
- There is a huge potential for computer games in Västernorrland.
In order for the companies not to move from here, we need to make things happen, says one of the organizers Stefan Sångberg, CEO of Sideline Labs.
