The Ministry of Education has set nine precautionary measures for twelfth-grade students to perform the Emirates Standard Test (Enjaz). Arabic, English, Mathematics, and Physics).

In the Student Guide to the Application of the Emirates Standard Test during the "Covid-19" Pandemic, which it recently adopted, the Ministry stressed the commitment to precautionary and preventive measures while performing the test, which includes the necessity to provide a negative examination result for the Corona virus for every student and academic staff in the test centers. For a maximum of a month through the Al Hosn / Sehha app, and in the event of one positive result, it must be ensured that two consecutive negative results are provided before registering for the test.

Among the precautionary measures is the necessity for the student to wear the muzzle and gloves before entering the test center, while measuring his temperature, and passing in front of the thermal camera, and then any student who will have symptoms similar to the symptoms of "Corona" will be prevented from entering the examination room.

The student must bring a valid Emirates ID card, and it is forbidden to bring any family members to the test center, and family members are not allowed to be in the waiting halls of the test centers, with the necessity for students and educational staff to adhere to a physical distance, with a distance of two meters between each student and anyone else. From the student leaving the test center upon completion of taking the test, and he will not be allowed to wait at the center.

The student is obligated to bring his personal tools necessary to perform the test, including the calculator in the mathematics and physics test, because the center will not provide these machines to students, with the necessity for the student to reduce the possessions he brings to the center, and be satisfied with the basic holdings.

Regarding the policies followed in the application of the test, the guide clarified that the late student will not be allowed to enter the test centers after 30 minutes have passed since the start of the test, and he will record “absence” in this subject, and if the student is unable to attend any test for some reason, he will not be allowed to register for the test again. Except in exceptional cases (illness or family emergency), and in this case he must submit a re-examination request to the National and International Examinations Department, explaining the reason for his absence in detail, with a medical report issued by a government hospital certified by the Ministry of Health, and his application will be reviewed and informed of the date of the test. Allowance for him only in case the excuse is approved and the conditions are met.

The guide pointed out that the student’s score will not be calculated in the event of cheating or attempting to cheat while taking the test, and he will be prevented from taking the Emirates Standard Test for a full year, and if the student tries to forge scores in the test certificate, the score will not be calculated, and the student will be transferred to the Legal Affairs Department to take Measures necessary.

The guide indicated that the dates for the examination sessions are divided into one date next October, on the 24th, and two dates each of next November (on 7 and 21), January 2021 (on 16 and 30), February 2021 (on 13 and 27), and March 2021 (daily) 13 and 27), one date in May 2021 (Day 29), and two dates in June 2021 (days 5 and 12).

The guide explained that the Emirates standard test does not have a failure score, but rather is a measure of skills and knowledge, and the student can apply for the tests in the four subjects on different days and not necessarily on the same day, and the student is registered through an ID reader in all schools in the country, through the coordinators accredited in Schools, and the tests are held in accredited centers designated for the Emirates Standardized Test, distributed nationwide, and the student is obligated to register to take the test in one of the centers in the emirate in which he lives, and in the event that a seat is not available for him in the session, he must wait until the next session.

Achievement is mandatory for 6 categories

The guide mentioned that the standard Emirates test (achievement) is mandatory for six categories, including Emiratis and non-Emiratis studying in government continuing education centers, Emiratis studying in all public and private schools with ministerial curricula and special international curricula, Emiratis applying for scholarships outside the country, and non-citizens in government schools and schools Students of the ministerial curriculum, and students of the twelfth grade and non-Emiratis who wish to complete their studies in one of the public and private universities in the country, and national service students and applicants to military colleges.
