From the perspective of the distribution of the three industries, compared with 2014, the proportion of employment in the tertiary industry in 2019 has increased by 10.9%, becoming the industry that absorbs the most jobs.

From the perspective of urban and rural distribution, more and more surplus rural laborers are moving to cities and towns. In 2019, the number of urban employees was 7,341,700, accounting for 55.2% of all employed persons.

  The white paper stated that the income of Xinjiang residents and employees has increased steadily.

From 2014 to 2019, the average annual salary of employees in non-private units in Xinjiang's urban areas increased from 53,500 to 79,400 yuan, and the average annual salary of employees in urban private units increased from 36,200 to 45,900 yuan.

  The white paper says that the quality of Xinjiang's labor force has improved significantly.

From 2014 to 2019, Xinjiang trained an average of 1.288 million urban and rural laborers.

Participants have mastered at least one employment skill, and most of them have obtained vocational qualification certificates, vocational skills level certificates or special vocational ability certificates to achieve stable employment.
