Su-27 intercepted military aircraft of Great Britain and the United States on the Black Sea

The radars of the Russian Armed Forces over the neutral waters of the Black Sea detected two air targets approaching the state border.

“To identify air targets and prevent violation of the state border of the Russian Federation, a Su-27 fighter from the air defense forces of the Southern Military District was taken into the air.

The crew of the Russian fighter identified the aerial targets as the strategic reconnaissance aircraft RC-135 of the British Air Force and the base patrol aircraft P-8A Poseidon of the US Navy and escorted them over the Black Sea, ”TASS reports the National Center for Defense Control (NTSUO) of Russia.
