The State Duma Commission revealed attempts to interfere in the Russian elections

This was stated by the head of the commission to investigate the facts of foreign interference in the internal affairs of Russia Vasily Piskarev.

“The Commission daily collected and analyzed data on attempts of foreign interference in our internal affairs, and once again we recorded deliberate actions to undermine confidence in the elections in the eyes of voters,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

“The forms of intervention were different,” he said.

“From traditional massive stuffing and promotion of disinformation on social networks to round-the-clock hacker attacks on the Central Election Commission of Russia,” Piskarev said.

On September 13, over 9 thousand election campaigns of all levels took place in 83 regions of Russia.

Ella Pamfilova, head of the Central Election Commission of Russia, commented on the past elections.
