Back in Bamako on the night of September 15 to 16, the junta delegation will have slept very little.

Upon her return

from the Accra summit

, during which she met

the delegation of ECOWAS heads of state

, she has, according to our information, started consultations, first among brothers in arms.

Colonel Assimi Goïta

, head of the military who took power almost a month ago, is organizing meetings.

He reports on his mission, gives his impressions, comments, and in his now famous pocket diary, he takes notes, explains his entourage.

The head of the military in power will continue his talks with civilian figures.

The idea is to see how to take into account

the observations

of the Economic Community of West African States, which, on two essential points of the transition is clear.

We need a president and a civilian prime minister.

And if the junta does not hide it, it never intended to challenge the sub-regional institution.

The most important thing, explains an observer, is that within the junta we speak the same language, the rest will be easy.

The special envoy of ECOWAS, former Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan, is expected again in Bamako next week and some even consider that before his arrival the junta could have reviewed his copy.
