The mayor of Paris refused Wednesday on Europe 1 to decide on his possible candidacy for the presidential election of 2022. Just Anne Hidalgo assured that she would not remain inactive as this deadline approaches in order to be sure that his ideas are represented.

"This is a question that I will be asked quite regularly, to which I have already answered a lot".

Anne Hidalgo kept her smile Thursday morning on Europe 1 when discussing the presidential election of 2022, and especially her possible candidacy.

While the left is looking for a common candidacy for this great political deadline, the name of the mayor of Paris comes up regularly as possible impetuous.

"I was re-elected mayor of Paris, it's something extraordinary, this city fascinates me, I work there", she first replied.

"Greener, more human, more humanistic responses"

But Anne Hidalgo immediately made it clear that she would not remain inactive.

"I would help, of course, so that there is in our country a political offer which is social-democratic and ecological, because I think that there is really a need for these answers today", said the mayor of Paris.

"These are greener, more human, more humanistic responses, and at the same time without denying the role of the economy," she added.

"This is where we have to go. So I will help, I will continue in my place today."
