The CGT, Solidaire, the FSU, various youth organizations are calling for a strike this Thursday, the first nationally in this new school year in 2020. Their demands: employment, salaries and

pensions

.

These are particularly sensitive subjects, with the economic crisis caused by the coronavirus epidemic, the difficulties encountered by many sectors and the

recovery plan announced by the government

for 2021.

"Some restructuring plans are particularly scandalous"

Asked by RFI, Philipe Martinez, secretary general of the CGT, explains that this day of mobilization is based on "

taking into account all the issues, which are numerous: in terms of health, working conditions, work organization, but also in terms of wages

 ”.

I meet a lot of employees who have been told they were essential during confinement, but who are still paid as at the beginning of the year,

 " he adds.

The union leader also puts forward "

questions around employment, because there are a lot of restructuring plans

 ".

Philippe Martinez squeaks: “

None is justified, but there are some who are particularly scandalous.

I am thinking of Auchan, a company that is doing very well.

These are the employees who were greeted during confinement, and for speculative reasons, for reasons of profitability, there is a restructuring plan of 1,500 jobs.

 "

SNCF announces generally normal traffic on Thursday.

TGV and international traffic will not be affected.

On the TER side, we will only have to expect "

some adaptations in the New Aquitaine and Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur regions

 ".

The Transilien and Intercités networks should be very slightly affected.

At RATP, the movement will have "

no impact

 " either.

In Paris, the procession will set off at the beginning of the afternoon, around 2 p.m., from Place de la République towards Place de la Nation.

In Marseille, a demonstration of the intersyndicale education is planned from 10:30 am Porte d'Aix.
