On Monday morning, the news came that Handelsbanken was closing 180 of its 380 branches in the country.
The reason for the closures is that customers no longer demand physical branches, Handelsbanken's CEO Carina Åkerström said at a press conference that SVT covered.
The offices that will close are offices whose customers today choose to primarily use digital services.
