Zelensky instructed to create a Ukrainian center for the production of vaccines

It is specified that he set the corresponding task after a meeting on the development of the biological safety system of Ukraine.

“President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has set the task of creating a center that will coordinate cooperation between research institutions and production facilities of the country in the direction of creating conditions for the provision of domestic vaccines,” the statement said.

It is noted that this will allow Ukraine to overcome its dependence "on the import of vaccines and immunobiological preparations."

The message adds that the center will also "counteract the negative impact of biological factors and bio-threats for the state."

Earlier, Zelensky said that Ukraine cannot independently develop vaccines, but is ready to establish their production at home, if it agrees with the countries where they are created.
