The Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, in its meeting yesterday, chaired by His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Council, approved the list of beneficiaries of converting the housing subsidy decision from a loan to a grant for the year 2020, who meet the conditions of housing support. For the purposes of new construction, completion, addition and maintenance of housing in various cities and regions of the Emirate of Sharjah, in implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, to amend the ceiling of housing assistance entitlement to the grant category, for those whose monthly income is less than 25 thousand dirhams.

The council also approved the addition of three sites for recreational fishing activity in the emirate, in each of: Sharjah, Kalba, and Al Hamriya.
