15 September 2020 The number of households benefiting from Income and Citizenship Pension increases, which in August exceed 1.3 million (1.304 million families), involving a total of over 3 million people (3.081 million).

These are the updated data from INPS, which underlines how the increase is over 23% compared to the figure for January 2020 (1.304 million families against 1.059 million in January) and 20% for the number of people involved ( passed from 2.562 million in January to 3.081 million recorded in August).

For citizenship income alone, the increase in the number of beneficiaries was over 25%, with a 21% increase in the number of people involved, again compared to January 2020.
