A fire broke out in four furniture warehouses in the Al-Jurf Industrial Area in Ajman, yesterday, and civil defense teams were able to control it without any injuries or deaths, and police patrols took over to secure the site and manage traffic.

The Director General of Ajman Civil Defense, Brigadier General Abdulaziz Ali Al Shamsi, stated that the operation room received a report at 3:27 pm, stating that a fire broke out in furniture warehouses in Al-Jurf Industrial Area, and upon receiving the report, civil defense teams, police patrols, and national ambulances moved And it arrived at the al-Balagh site, within a response time that did not exceed three minutes, which prevented any injuries or deaths, while being able to control the fire.

He said that the fire broke out in four furniture warehouses belonging to three different companies, and three civil defense centers participated in fighting the fire, namely: the Civil Defense Administration Center, the Al-Jarf and the Industrial Area, with the support of the General Departments of Civil Defense, from the Emirates of Sharjah and Umm Al Quwain, in addition to the Ajman Municipality .

He added that, after the fire was extinguished, the civil defense teams began cooling operations, to prevent the outbreak of the fire again, and the competent authorities took over the process of lifting the effects of the fire, to determine the causes of the fire.
