The prosecutor's office is checking the message about a gas explosion in a house in Tatarstan

“There was a message about a gas explosion in an apartment building,” TASS reports.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region told the agency that on September 14, a message was received about a fire in an apartment on the fourth floor of a house in Nizhnekamsk.

“Units of the Nizhnekamsk fire and rescue garrison are working on the spot, the cause of the fire is being established,” the department said.

The fire is currently extinguished.

Earlier, Realnoe Vremya reported that a criminal case was opened in Tatarstan over the death of three people in a fire.
