She indicated that these fathers are not aware of the difficulty of the bad psychological situation, and the low degree of perception and comprehension of girls of determination who have mental disability or mental illness, and that they do not seek support or help from the competent authorities and experts, so that they can understand the condition of their daughters, and train in ways Correct dealing with them.

Al-Hammadi explained that a girl can go out without anyone noticing, and disappear hours before the family can find her, which is a great fear for the family, for fear of being attacked or physically or mentally harmed by a stranger in the street.

She added that some girls who have intellectual disability behave in a way that frightens parents, and puts them under psychological pressure, but that in no way justifies hitting them, and the use of violence is a method of discipline and education, following up that making sure that the girl is inside the house and constantly following her is the responsibility of the parents or those in charge of Taking care of her, and the behavior of girls with intellectual disabilities must be matched by understanding, patience, and containment and not violence, because punishment for beating or abuse is forbidden in law and humanity.

Al-Hammadi stressed that the concerned authorities in the country cooperate in implementing plans and implementing programs, through which they aspire to reduce the harm and abuse that people of determination may suffer as a result of any reason, with the aim of protecting this group most in need of care and attention, and ensuring that they can practice life normally. Like all members of society, pointing out that the authority supports its plans related to caring and protecting the rights of people of determination by launching a hotline, to receive reports of abuse cases and various inquiries, and to direct families to the correct procedures, to benefit from the care and support programs for people of determination.
