, the former socialist deputy of Marseille Henri Jibrayel was sentenced to thirty months in prison, ten of which was closed and five years of ineligibility, for acts of breach of trust and illegal taking of interest .

The prison sentence will be carried out at home under an electronic bracelet.

The former parliamentarian is also fined 30,000 euros.

Still a departmental councilor, the elected representative was criticized for having financed, in 2011 and 2012, sea trips for the elderly in his constituency by associations over which he had control and which were subsidized by the general council of Bouches-du-Rhône, the majority of which was then socialist.

Prosecutor Etienne Perrin had requested two months in prison, including six months firm against the former deputy.
