14 September 2020 "From tomorrow there will be no more tickets and visitors, but cards and members": this is the great news of Brera announced by director James Bradburne.

The card will be free until 31 December and will allow access to the art gallery and special online content.

The programming restarts on 21 September from the Rosa di Brera award, then space for Raphael with Performing Raffaello on 12 October and the first dialogue between Raphael and Zhang Zeduan on 2 November.  



"Contrary to the budget, we will be close to a loss of 3 million", said the director of Brera James Bradburne in the conference 'Freedom is participation' dedicated to Philippe Daverio.



"We are not the only museum in this situation and it is not clear how the government will manage all this - he continued -, we are navigating under the stars of uncertainty, the impact of the terrible year we have experienced".

Bradburne recalled that the art gallery was closed for covid from February 23 to June 9, with revenues reduced to almost zero.

After the lockdown, the summer opening with free admission with reservation and reduced hours.
