"In 2020, more than 800 servicemen of the two countries and about 170 units of military and special equipment will take part in the exercise," the ministry said.

In particular, the exercises will involve modern BMD-4M airborne combat vehicles and armored personnel carriers BTR-MDM Shell of the Black Sea Guards Airborne Assault Regiment of the Pskov Guards Airborne Forces.

It is noted that the maneuvers are carried out on counter-terrorism topics and are not directed against other countries.

The joint Belarusian-Russian tactical exercises "Slavic Brotherhood - 2020" will be held at the Brestsky training ground in Belarus from September 14 to 25.
