Egypt ... a girl who knows her marriage to "Facebook" and "the prosecution" divorces her by three
An 18-year-old Egyptian girl from the village of Bani Adi, affiliated to the Manfalut Center, was surprised by her father, who publishes on his official Facebook page on the social networking site "Facebook", who has contracted her marriage without her consent or knowledge.
The girl said that she did not sign or fingerprint the marriage document, which prompted her to seek help at the branch of the National Council for Women in Assiut, which issued a report on the incident and was divorced on behalf of her.
The director of Assiut security, Major General Asaad Al-Dhakir, had received a report from the National Council for Women accusing the girl and her father, who lives in the village of Bani Adi, of marrying her without her knowledge.
When summoned, the girl said, “She learned, by chance, on her father’s Facebook page that her marriage and marriage contract had taken place, confirming that she did not sign or fingerprint the marriage document, which caused her panic and shock.”
The girl added in her statements that her father had always beat her and tortured her to force her to complete the marriage, which prompted her to seek help from the National Council for Women.
By referring to the prosecution, her father, husband, marriage officer, and witnesses were summoned, and the prosecution ordered the imprisonment of the accused and the completion of the divorce by three verbal shots from the husband beside the divorce on release, and the right to remarry is not permitted without a valid contract and dowry.
This was proven in the divorce document that was drawn up in the Serail of the Public Prosecution Office.
A pledge was also taken from the defendants not to harm the girl, and they were kept at the Public Prosecution Office to complete the prosecution presentation, based on instructions from the Public Prosecutor.
