When the collaboration with Gatans Lag in Gothenburg ended a few years ago - according to VLT due to the fact that the activities would be concentrated in the big cities - it was a small part of the gang in Västerås that continued to be seen and play in not too disturbed forms.

Gradually, however, the group grew.

More and more people showed up and wanted to play and companies got in touch and wanted to sponsor with vests and balls.

Now they train twice a week.

- The rule is sober and drug-free.

We have the experience ourselves and only need to look at each other and see if anyone is affected, for example.

Then just go home, and it's respected.

But it happens very rarely, says Thomas Teschke.

Hard to reach women

Recently, the step was also taken towards forming an association with its own finances.

Papers have been submitted and the hope is to create an association account, be able to rent plans and book playing times of their choice.

And to play matches of course, maybe even series.

But there are only men on the team?

- Yes, unfortunately that's it.

We have a hard time reaching the girls.

They come sometimes, train sometime but then they do not come back.

We hope that it will be easier to reach them also when we are more visible.
