12 September 2020 A new trial will start again before another court in Milan for Laura Taroni, a nurse in the emergency room of Saronno, in the province of Varese, accused of killing her mother and her husband, together with her medical lover Leonardo Cazzaniga.
The Court of Cassation has in fact annulled the sentence of 30 years.
"The decision does not only concern the fact that the sentence was incomplete", explained Laura Taroni's lawyer, Cataldo Intrieri, "but also because the Milan Court of Appeal had forgotten part of the motivation, but also evidence of responsibility for the murders ".
