County Administrative Board: "Strong indications"

Previously, the County Administrative Board did not want to introduce protection hunting against the wolf, among other things on the grounds that the wolf has attacked one and the same farm.

- It is unusual for the County Administrative Board in Halland County to make a decision on protection hunting.

We cannot determine whether it is one and the same individual who carried out all the attacks.

However, there are strong indications that this is the case, says predator handler Martin Broberg, in a press release.

The protection hunt ends on October 6, or when the wolf has been shot.

The County Administrative Board decides who is allowed to participate in the protection hunt and it will take place in the municipalities of Varberg and Kungsbacka.
