The Swedish Public Health Agency's recommendation for short-term preschool children reads, among other things:

“If the child has mild symptoms, such as dry cough and mild runny nose, the child can return to preschool if at least 7 days have passed since the first symptoms appeared, regardless of whether testing has been performed or not. ”

But the preschool and parents must of course make an assessment of whether it is appropriate for the child to return to preschool or whether the parent needs to take additional vab days.

And you already end up in difficulties, says Zandra Ahkoila, preschool director in Örebro.

- What we have noticed is that it gets a little harder, we end up in the dilemma;

if we are going to call children home or if they are welcome to stay.
