“Immediately after the incident surrounding the search of the car of the Ambassador of Ukraine in the Republic of Belarus, the Ukrainian side sent a note to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus demanding to provide explanations and qualify the actions of the Belarusian border guards,” the agency quotes the agency's statement.
It is reported that the Ukrainian side considers this step "unfriendly", and also reserves the right to act on the basis of reciprocity in connection with this incident.
Earlier, Kizim said that at the Ukrainian-Belarusian border, border guards arranged an inspection of his personal belongings, contrary to diplomatic practice.
