12. What is involved in flying from Japan to China?

14. For direct flights from Japan to China, do I need to upload a test certificate or apply for a "Statement of Health Status" in the health code applet?
No, please board the plane with the original test certificate.
Note: Due to the large number of Chinese citizens in Japan, in order to avoid interfering with our consulate’s review of the transit personnel certification, please do not upload test certificates or "health declarations" for those who fly directly from Japan to China.
15. After returning from Japan via a third country, what should I do after I get a nucleic acid test certificate?
Chinese citizens obtain the test certificate and upload the certificate through the health code applet within 12 hours, and obtain the HS code after the embassy or consulate has passed the verification, and use this code to board the plane.
Foreign citizens apply for the "Declaration of Health Status" as required, use this "Declaration" to board the plane, and carry the original nucleic acid test certificate for future reference.
Note: Please be sure to correctly fill in the departure place of direct flights to China.
If your itinerary is: Japan-Korea-China, the departure point for direct flights to China is South Korea.
16. When returning from Japan via a third country, and the departure time coincides with Sunday, can I upload the nucleic acid test certificate on Saturday?

Transit to China via Japan
17. What are the circumstances involved in transiting to China via Japan?
There are two situations:
1. Depart from a third country and fly to China via Japan, such as the United States-Japan-China;
2. Departing from a third country, transiting to other countries or regions via Japan, and then flying to China, such as the United States-Japan-South Korea-China.
18. Departing from a third country and returning to the country via Japan, which library should the nucleic acid test certificate be submitted for review?
After the nucleic acid test is done at the place of origin, it shall be submitted to the corresponding Chinese embassy or consulate in the place of origin for review according to the jurisdiction of the testing agency.
Chinese citizens board the flight with HS code and foreign citizens with the "Declaration of Health Status" approved by the Chinese Embassy or Consulate.
Note: The Chinese Embassy and Consulate in Japan cannot issue HS codes or "Statement of Health" for transit passengers in Japan. If you fail to apply in advance and pass the review as required, you will be repatriated to the place of departure.
19. After returning to China via Japan, and finding that the HS code is invalid after arriving in Japan, can I do the nucleic acid test locally?
