Saudi Arabia: The number of people infected with "Corona" continues to decrease, after 687 were recorded

Yesterday, the Saudi Ministry of Health announced that the number of people infected with the new Coronavirus (Covid-19) will continue to decrease in the Kingdom, with 687 cases registered, after it recorded 775 cases yesterday.

And the Ministry of Health announced, in a statement yesterday, that the total number of new infections with the Coronavirus (Covid-19), in the Kingdom, has risen to 324,407 confirmed cases, an increase of 687 infections recorded on Thursday.

The Ministry announced the registration of 24 new deaths, bringing the total number of deaths to 4,213 deaths.

The total active cases reached 19,261 cases, of which 1,368 were critical cases.

And in Kuwait, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced, yesterday, that 653 new cases of the new Corona virus (Covid-19) were recorded during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of registered cases to 93,475, while one death was recorded as a result of contracting the disease, to become The total number of deaths registered as of yesterday was 557.

The official spokesman for the ministry, Abdullah Al-Sanad, said in the daily press release that all previous cases that were confirmed to have the disease were "in contact with confirmed cases, and others are under investigation for the causes of infection, and examining those in contact with them."

In Tunisia, the Minister of Education, Fathi Al-Slouti, stressed yesterday the compulsory wearing of protective masks in schools, among other exceptional measures, while adhering to the date of returning to schools on September 15th.

And in Ramallah, the Palestinian Minister of Health, Mai Al-Keela, announced yesterday that 652 new cases of the emerging coronavirus, and eight deaths, were recorded during the past twenty-four hours.

She added, in a press statement, that Hebron governorate topped the new injuries, with 157 cases recorded, followed by Jerusalem and its suburbs, with a total of 124 injuries, and 80 injuries were recorded in the Gaza Strip, while the rest of the injuries were distributed in different areas in the West Bank.

The Minister of Health indicated that there were 34 people infected with Coronavirus "in intensive care rooms, including 10 patients on artificial respirators."

In Iraq, thousands of supporters of the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, gathered at a mosque in eastern Baghdad yesterday, for the first weekly Friday prayer, since the emergence of the new Corona virus.

Gatherings of worshipers were banned in mosques for a period of six months, but Muqtada al-Sadr announced, on Wednesday, that he would hold open-air prayers in Sadr City.

The worshipers gathered in front of the main mosque in the city, and put masks while undergoing a temperature check, before they were allowed to enter the mosque's courtyard, where volunteers sprayed disinfectant.

In a short sermon, the prayer leader called on everyone to respect physical distancing and protect themselves from the virus.

Muqtada al-Sadr had published, on Twitter this week, a list of restrictions related to this event, including leaving a distance of 75 centimeters between worshipers and giving sermons that do not exceed 15 minutes.

Iraq has been severely affected by the "Covid-19" epidemic, with nearly 280,000 injuries, and more than 7,800 deaths, in the country whose health system has been suffering for years.
