Thursday, at 4 p.m., rue Etienne Mahot, in Nantes, the firefighters, at the request of the Nantaise dwellings, intervened in a dwelling and found the lifeless body of a man.
The Social Enterprise for Housing had warned because it was worried not to hear from the tenant, the latter not having attended a social investigation.
The lessor intervened six months ago in the company of a specialized company to clear this same housing.
Neighbors complained of bad odors emanating from the house as a result of the storage of garbage cans inside.
Body given to family
According to the first elements of the police investigation, the man was suffering from Diogenes syndrome, a behavioral disorder associating extreme neglect of personal and domestic hygiene.
He complained of stomach pain.
The apartment was closed from the inside when the body was found.
The body of the individual has been returned to the family.
