China News Service, September 11th. According to a report compiled by Australia.com, a racist letter was posted on the shop window of a Chinese family business in southeastern Melbourne, Australia.

In response, Monash Mayor James said that the note found in the store was “dirty and disgusting”.

"Daily Mail" reported on the 9th that at present, the police are searching the local surveillance cameras to try to find the perpetrator.

The investigation is still ongoing and the police want to determine whether this racial discrimination letter is an isolated case or is related to a series of local vandalism.

In response, Mayor James of Monash condemned the anonymous author of the letter and said that Australia does not tolerate racial discrimination.

"The author who carried out this cowardly, mean and pathetic attack on fellow Australians should stop this behavior."

James said, “Australia is based on immigrants from all over the world who come here to seek a better life for themselves and their families. Even if you were born in Australia, it does not mean that you are more Australian than others here. There is no right to carry out unprovoked racist attacks on innocent people.” (Yuan Chunling)
